I must admit that when I heard Rihanna‘s latest single, Where Have You Been, I wasnt exactly blown away, I mean could you blame me? The charts are filled with electro dance hits that after a while all start to sound the same. But aha! Here is another perfect example of a great music video that makes you tolerate the song. And whatta you know, Rihanna decided to do a little extra footwork too. Tune into the Middle Eastern inspired visual below.

Here is a new up-and-coming ruby by the name of Kirby Lauryen. Originally from Memphis, Tennessee, with a sound she calls “soultry” where soul meets country, Kirby strives to make soul music “cool again” for a younger audience. So far Kirby received the opportunity to open for soulful heavyweights like Kem and Anthony Hamilton, and as if that wasn’t enough, creates a song everyday (yes, EVERYDAY) via her Youtube channel. I couldn’t help but take notice of Atlanta-based girl group, The Yes Ma’ams. I mean, afterall, they are 3 very attractive ladies with obvious sex appeal and a cool, care-free style reminiscent of popular 1980′s girl groups like Vanity 6 and Appolonia 6, both who were formed by his Purpleness, Prince. Hold up. So you mean to tell me that by watching this new music video with Iggy Azalea and Atlanta-based rap two-o, FKi, that I can buy everything I see in the music video DIRECTLY FROM THE VIDEO?

SSENSE.com, an apparel website, just made history by allowing viewers to purchase selected pieces worn in the below “I Think She Ready” music video, which includes designer pieces from Alexander Wang, Alexander McQueen, Rick Owens, Galliano, and Raf Simmons. It seems that companies like Apple and Google always have something hiding under their sleeves. Soon as you think “Okay we’ve reached our technological capacity…Life couldn’t POSSIBLY get better.” BAM! Apple or Google introduces something ground-breaking that changes the whole game. But seriously, GOOGLE. EXPLAIN THIS! Or maybe you guys can interpret this “new technology” for me. This stuff seems so cool my lil ol’ brain cant even comprehend….magical glasses?

Well. Apparently whenever Yeezy has something to get off his chest, he goes straight to the booth. Yesterday a song entitled, “Theraflu”, featuring DJ Khaled and a very familiar producer by the name of Hit-Boy, surfaced and has been getting mixed reviews. Once again no Sherlock Holmes, but one may presume that a certain Hollywood personality with two K’s for initials and their ex-husband is affiliated in some way with this song. INDULGERS, set the record straight! Is this track deemed RUBY or RUBBISH? Thank Ye for the artwork!
